Is Iqra SEN right for my child?

Finding the right fit, together

Every child is different, so before we confirm a place we take time to understand your child's needs and make sure we can support them safely and appropriately.

  1. Step 1

    Tell us about your child

Send us an enquiry and share a little about your child: what they enjoy, what helps them feel settled and the support they usually need.

  2. Step 2

We look at their individual needs

We talk with you about your child as an individual. A diagnosis on its own never decides whether a child can join us. What matters is the support they need day to day.

  3. Step 3

    We confirm together

We then let you know honestly whether we can support your child safely and well, before any place is confirmed.

What we take into account

If we're not able to offer the right support at the moment, we'll explain why, kindly and honestly.

  • Your child's individual support needs
  • Our available staffing
  • Our staff's training and experience
  • Our facilities and resources
FAQs

Questions parents often ask

If you can't find your answer here, we're always happy to chat.

Does my child need a diagnosis to join?

No. We look at each child as an individual. A diagnosis, or the lack of one, doesn't decide whether a child can join. We focus on the support your child needs and whether we can provide it well.

How do you decide whether you can support my child?

Before confirming a place, we talk with you about your child's needs. We then consider whether our available staffing, staff training, facilities and resources mean we can support them safely and appropriately.

What happens if you can't support my child at the moment?

We'll tell you honestly and explain why. Our decision is about what we can safely provide, never a judgement about your child.

When are you open?

Our after-school sessions run Monday to Friday, from 3pm to 6pm.

How do I get started?
